St. Cletus School Development Committee

The St. Cletus School Board has formed a Development Committee to identify and pursue funding for the school beyond tuition, parish subsidy and current fundraisers. Our current goals include updating our school alumni database, as well as identifying and applying for grants and other funding activities targeting specific needs of the school. The committee members are Nadine Brdecka, Eileen Bruce, Mike Cherny, Tom Finucane, Bridget Garvey, Cathy Kane, Janet Kennedy, Maggie Nelson, Erin Sheridan, Pete Okkema and Liz Valdes. Many thanks to these people for participating!

St. Cletus Technology Committee

Based on feedback from last year's parent survey, the St. Cletus School Board also formed a Technology Committee. The mission of the Technology Committee is to provide technical expertise, support and guidance to the board, staff and administration in order to integrate and enhance campus wide technology systems, programs and equipment, thereby providing St. Cletus students with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to succeed in a technology rich world.

Thanks to the hard work of the committee and the Board liaison, Mark Staelgraeve, an updated school web site appeared when the school year started! Also, a mobile media cart with an attached laptop is now available for classroom use. The committee will continue to focus on campus infrastructure, web utilization, and technology equipment.

The committee is assessing future projects and needs. If you have interest in technology at St. Cletus, please send an .

Mother Goose on the Loose!

The School Board hosted another successful Mother Goose on the Loose. This fun and entertaining evening was open to new and prospective Preschool and Kindergarten families aged 2 ½ to 5 years old. Families had the opportunity to view the classrooms, listen to Mother Goose stories, talk one-on-one with teachers, munch on some snacks and experience the difference at St. Cletus School.

Parent & Child Activity Time

Bring the little ones and join us for another Parent & Child Activity Time. Mark you calendars now: November 1, November 15 and November 29, 9:30 a.m. in the St. Cletus School Library. Play instruments, sing along with the guitar and listen to stories as you and your child(ren) interact with other families. This activity is open to infant age children through 3 years old.
