Special words of appreciation to our good friend and neighbor, St. John of the Cross Parish, for donating their April food collection to our pantry. We are doing well in our preparations for the May 11 food distribution, as a result of your continued generosity. Thank you for faithfully adding food pantry requests to your shopping list!
On Saturday, May 13th, mail carriers across the country will be collecting donations to help fill local food banks. You can show your support by setting a bag of food by your mailbox. Thank you!
Food Pantry Volunteer Opportunity
The LaGrange Farmer’s Market has invited our food pantry to collect food and monetary donations during the 2nd Thursday of each month. We’re looking for volunteers to sit at a table, answer basic questions about the pantry, collect donations, and transport them back to St. Cletus. You’re welcome to mingle and explore the market while you’re there!
Potential volunteers could sign up for a one time volunteer opportunity, multiple, or all the available dates. Dates are listed below and volunteers are needed from 9:00-2:00 (start time may be flexible).
Please contact Kendall (firstname.lastname@example.org or 708.215.5418 to sign up)
