The Archdiocese of Chicago has taken the lead among dioceses in the United States in our faith-based response to this epidemic of abuse that afflicts families in every community.
May we all be a light to those suffering in the darkness of their homes
and bring them hope for a life free of violence.
Join us to enjoy an evening of welcome, friendship, great food, dancing, awards and auction event. Net proceeds will support awareness raising, education & training and prevention initiatives. Thank you for your generous support.

Good Friday Walk for Justice
Friday, April 14th, 2017
12 pm- 3:00 pm
Gather at the corner of Michigan and Congress
IMAGINE: Honoring Our Visions of Justice – asks us to look internally and externally. What does it mean to honor our visions? We hope the 2017 Good Friday Walk for Justice will provide the space to name and explore our visions for a just and peaceful world. Often we focus on what is missing and we forget to maintain a hopeful vision. In order to honor that hope we recommit ourselves to courageous thought and action in the face of great despair.
Each year we join together for this modern-day Way-of-the- Cross to shed light on unjust societal structures and to reflect on how we can work to dismantle them. Thank you for joining us in this ‘holy’ endeavor!
