Giving Tree Words of Thanks
In addition to the overwhelming gratitude expressed by our Giving Tree recipients on the day of distribution, many verbal and written words of appreciation continue to come in. Let me share a sampling with you, whose faithfulness allows this ministry to continue.
“You deserve the very best always…especially for all you do.”
“My kids were so happy and excited to open the gifts you got for them.”
“Thank you from my kids and I”
“Thank you for everything you’ve done for our family.”
“I pray that love and joy goes to your family.”
“Bless us Lord, this Christmas with quietness of mind; teach us to be patient and always to be kind!”
“Thank you for being a part of our beautiful team.”
“Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.”
“Thank you for everything.”
Monthly Domestic Violence Support Group
If you or someone close to you is experiencing domestic violence this group may be very helpful.
The objective of the group is to provide all a chance to talk about domestic violence and share questions, concerns and experiences with others who are facing – or who have faced – similar situations in confidence.
Please contact Kendall Grant (firstname.lastname@example.org) or 708.215.5418 for more information.
In an emergency, dial 911, call the National Domestic Violence 24-Hour Hotline at 800-799-7233 or the local 24 hour hotline for Pillars: 708.485.5254.
